WE'RE BACK!!!
Well, we're back from visiting our family and think that we are settling down for a little while now. Logan has been with our family for 6 weeks now and we are starting to figure out how to get things done with two kids running around (well...one running, the other is just there!). We loved spending time with family and watching Garrett play with all of his cousins.
While in Utah I was able to see almost all of my old roommates at some point and time, we missed you Brenda!!! Unfortunately, due to our hectic schedules we weren't all able to meet up at the same time, but we still had so much fun catching up and reintroducing them to our children...perhaps one day they will have children to introduce to us (hint, hint)! Just kidding friends.
Garrett loves to be outside. Here he is playing in the stream in Nanna and Poppa's front yard.
And here he is after playing in the stream, looking at pictures of himself.
While we were visiting at my mom's, Uncle Jerry and Aunt Laura came up to visit. It was so good to see them and have our boys thoroughly spoiled by them, along with countless others. Garrett loved playing with them.

When we visit Utah we have to split up the time between our families...so the first half of the week we were the Kimballs and the latter half we were with the Asay's. We are so lucky to have so much family in one spot! Here we are at the Kimballs.

A sister's photo that everyone was so willing to take!!!
Here is Garrett with all of his cousins that were born the same year as him (2004) 4 in 2004...what a busy year for Grandma and Grandpa!!!
Here is almost all of the Kimball cousins (we couldn't get Ethan). We had so much fun and miss you all! Thanks for making the trips down to spend time with us!!!
While in Utah we performed Logan's baby blessing. It was such a blessing for us to be able to share that experience with our friends and family. Thanks to everyone who helped out and made the day special for us!

So great to see the Swenson Family...we sure wish we lived closer to you guys!
While still here in Missouri, before our Utah trip the camera has been going non-stop. Garrett and Logan provide us with many Kodak moments. We have been fortunate that Garrett truely loves Logan and has enjoyed having him in our home (thus far). He really likes to be by his brother...but not so much to hold him.
Here are the boys in their 4th of July outfits
Here is Logan "giving Garrett a kiss" aka thinking that Garrett's face is something to eat!
My mom was able to come out and help for two weeks after Logan was born. Not only was she a tremendous help, but she was loads of fun. We sure enjoyed the company and the fun that only grandparents can bring to a home. We wish we could see all of our parents so much more often, but we do cherish every opportunity we get.

This picture cracks me up to see the size difference in the two boys!
When Logan is awake, this is how Garrett spends his time! He loves to lay ON the blanket and Logan has to be facing him. If Logan turns his head, Garrett gets up and screams, "where did he go" and runs to the other side and lays down to be face-to-face with him again. It is quite funny, but also very adorable.

So..people keep asking us if our boys look alike. Here are some of Garrett at about the same age...what do you think?
We are having fun! Thanks to everyone who kept us in their prayers while Logan was in the hospital. Our family was well taken care of and we are doing awesome one month later. We can't wait to be able to see family and friends again. Our home is always open for anyone either passing through or coming to visit. We love you guys and we'll try to post again soon.
